Appearance: Haku is rather tiny for his age with long black hair, which is usually keeps up in a bun, with two rather thick strands of hair that fall downs and is tied up with brown beads with soft brown eyes. He is very feminine in appearance and cross dresses every so often, he has pale white skin and is very slim, rather underweight. He has very soft facial features and from time to time lets his hair down out of his bun. He is often well kept, wanting to look as nice as possible as often as possible. He is often almost always cold to the touch, this being explained by Haku's love of the cold, having grown up in a winter village he's always preferred the cold to the heart. His ninja clothes include a brown long sleeve turtle neck with brown pants and a brown sash tied around him and a blue and white coat. His casual wear is a pink kimono with black swirls and a black strip of cloth around his neck
Personality: Haku is a kind and gentle loving soul who enjoys helping people whenever he can, he is friendly and can be rather talkative when he wants to be. He is highly co-dependent and could turn into a killer if you threaten his precious person. He keeps to himself mostly and has a sort of shy side to him from time to time. He is extremely loyal and loves to be acknowledged for what he has done right, he has a big heart and from time to time can think with it more then his mind. He is very soft spoken but not to the point where he will allow people to walk all over him. If you do something he does not agree with or involves his special someone he will step in and voice his opinion.
In battle, Haku dislikes needing to kill and avoids doing so whenever possible. When forced to face an opponent, Haku does all that he can to avoid killing them. He’ll even put them into a death-like state to stop them from fighting further. He has a sharp wit and is a very fast learner, and will do about anything for the person who he latches onto. His only wish is to be useful. He is also a very modest little thing and it takes so little to make him smile and blush. He has a very feminine manner to himself as well and is very highly obedient to those who he cares for deeply.
Strengths/Abilities: Haku has amazing speed and high skills with the ninja needles called senbon and can incapacitate or kill a person with a single one. He has a kekkei genkai called Hyoton which allows him to create ice at his will. Haku has great skill in observation, this being seen when he learned what the Sharingan could do and even found a way around it even though he only saw it once. He is also rather intelligent and a very good strategist seeing as how he often must make split decisions, he is also very good at thinking on his toes. Also, he is the only person shown in Naruto that can do jutsu while only using one hand. Haku can manipulate and freeze water at will with little to no effort, because of his kekkei genkai (blood line limit) Using his kekkei genkai, Haku can create awhole dome mirrors made out of ice that surround the enemy on all sides, there is even a mirror right under their feet. This move is called Demonic Ice Mirrors and it is Haku's strongest attack, he has another attack where he stomps on a puddle of water and using one hand performs a few signs in order to freeze the water and turn them into hundreds of small ice needles, then while using his chakra, Haku sends the ice needles towards the enemy. This attack is called One Thousand Needles of Death.
Haku can then go into any one of the mirrors and move between them at amazing speed, in fact, Haku is moving so fast that the outside world appears to move in slow motion. During all this, Haku can throw needles while remaining almost untouchable. If the mirror Haku is in is breaks he can simply leap out of any one of the shards and continue his attack. Though they are made from ice, they have enough chakra inside of them to resist fire almost completely.
Weaknesses: Haku is so ungodly loyal that he will do just about anything for the person he latches onto, going to such extreme measures such as killing someone (though he really won't do this unless he REALLY has to). He will follow every order to a tee, so one can imagine what this would be like in the wrong hands. Haku also has a rather large heart and it's very much full with mercy depending on what you've done to him, it's very easy to drum on his heart strings and get you to spare you. He can also from time to time be rather trusting to people who are kind to him, he is highly co-dependent and can be taken advantage of rather easily if you work on that flaw of his. And even though his ice mirrors are his strongest attack, the technique requires a large amount of chakra to maintain, so Haku's movement becomes slower the longer he is in the mirrors and it drains him of energy rather quickly.
History: Haku was born in a village that always snowed in the Land of Water. Although he had a pretty good early childhood, like most special snowflakes in Naruto, that quickly took a turn for the worst when Haku found out that he inherited a blood line limit from his mother, this was a bad thing because the village that he was in greatly feared and hated those who had blood line limits, the fear and hate were so great that it cause a war over it and because of it, most of the people having blood line limits were wiped out. Once Haku's father caught wind of what flowed through his wife's and son's blood he gathered up a small mob from the village and killed his wife. As soon as they did the deed they turned their attention to the child who was huddled in a corner.
Horrified at what his father had done Haku fell down on the ground and tried to crawl away, but as his father raised the club to do the deed, Haku let out a scream and impaled his father, the mob and most of the house by freezing the water around him and creating spikes. Now orphaned, Haku wandered the Land of Water as dirty and hungry child picking through garbage in order to survive until he was found by Zabuza Momochi. At first Zabuza mocks the child a little bit, saying that no one cared if he lived or died. Haku looked up at Zabuza for a moment but soon smiled at him and told him that he had eyes just like his. This interested Zabuza who soon asked Haku if he wanted to be needed by someone, Haku quickly took up Zabuza's offer, agreeing to be his tool in exchange for Zabuza always keeping him by his side. Haku finds purpose in life only by being of use to Zabuza, and does whatever is asked of him in order to continue to give his life meaning.
Haku first pops up in the series when he stabs Zabuza in the neck with senbon, causing him to pass out and put in a death like trance in order to fool team 7 into thinking that he killed him. He is pretending to be a hunter ninja sent by Village Hidden in the Mist to kill Zabuza. He slips off with Zabuza with ease and takes out the senbon in his neck and starts to nurse him back to health. Haku takes Zabuza back to their hideout and changes into causal clothes in order to go out and find herbs. While he is in the forest searching for herbs, Haku comes across a sleeping Naruto, who had passed out in the forest for the night due to training so hard. As he leans over him, Haku ponders about what he should do to Naruto, knowing that he was the boy that had fought Zabuza. Haku reached out for his neck in order to snap it but had a fit of compassion at the last minute shook his shoulder in order to wake him up. Naruto rises up and blushes at the sight of such a pretty girl and happily starts to gather herbs with him. Haku talks with Naruto for awhile before placing the herbs in his basket and turning around to set off, but not before telling Naruto that he was in fact a boy. Utterly shocked at this, Naruto blurts out that Haku was even cuter then Sakura.
Haku nursed Zabuza back to health and they set out to do the job that they were paid to do, kill the bridge builder, on the bridge both Team 7, Haku, and Zabuza make their last stand. Haku is forced to fight Sasuke. At first favor switched back and forth between Sasuke and Haku, but Haku then traps Sasuke in his ice mirrors and begins his attack. Things looked bad for Sasuke until Naruto jump in and help him fight. Despite Naruto helping the battle still looked like it is turning in Haku’s favor, Haku thought it would be best to end the fight as quickly as possible as his ice mirrors were slowly draining all of his chakra, he leaps out of his mirror and charges at Naruto in order to hit him with his needles. Sasuke seeing this ran in the way and took the needles for Naruto and feel down onto the ground after a few choice words to Naruto. Infuriated Naruto unleashes the demon fox that is locked up inside of him and punches Haku out of the mirrors. As Haku gets up, his face now exposed, the force of Naruto's punch was so great that it broke his hunter nin mask, he thinks about how he had failed Zabuza and that he was sorry.
Naruto goes to give the final blow but stops in his tracks as he sees Haku's face and remembers that it was the boy from the forest. The demon fox goes back inside Naruto and Naruto is unable to give the final blow. Now useless, Haku has nothing left to live for and tells Naruto his story of his childhood and just how much Zabuza meant to him. He then begs Naruto to kill him, though hesitant, Naruto takes a kunai out and charges at Haku. But suddenly Haku's hand shoots out and takes hold of Naruto's, stopping his attack. Telling Naruto that he was sorry, but he could not die yet. Haku ninja poofs into Kakashi’s Chidori just before it hits and kills Zabuza in order to give him another chance at winning. Haku dies on the spot with a smile on his face, happy he could be of one last use to his master.
